The garden of the first house attached to the garden of the Annex, giving a lovely feeling of continuity.

You enter the second house into a large, covered veranda with 4 doors to the left these room are currently not used, but set in such a way to accommodate 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The second house is tidy, and a lot of work has been done on it including a large part of the roof, however it still needs bathrooms and kitchens updating.

Going back to the front of the house you have, some lovely seating areas, with a nice pond and rockery, you also have and attached barn and some smaller outbuildings across the lane.

There is a chemin in the hamlet which is a lovely walk to the village of Adriers.

Adriers, is a popular and lively village, which has general store/bar, post office, chemist, boulangerie and village lake with park together with a very good Belgian, English-speaking doctor. It would be wrong not to mention that it is one of the very few villages I pass through on a Sunday morning where everything seems to be open, and I can grab a coffee!

Getting to the area is easy with flights from many UK airports. The larger towns of L'Isle Jourdain, Lussac-les-Châteaux and Montmorillon with all their shopping, bars, restaurants, and amenities are 13, 21 and 24 minutes away respectively; but you need not venture from Adriers should you prefer just to relax and unwind.

Lussac-les-Châteaux and Montmorillon have train stations with links to Limoges and Poitiers; the latter providing cross platform TGV connections to Paris, Bordeaux and other French cities plus Brussels and London (via Lille).
Limoges and Poitiers airport and train station are both around a one-hour drive away.

The houses have mains water, electricity, drainage is to two septic tanks. Internet is connected to the main house. Heating is a wood burning fire and air conditioning units is installed in the main living area.
