Two buildings with generous views for sale on the edge of the Morvan in the commune of Saint-Honoré-les-Bains on a spacious plot of 2500 m2. The buildings are set in a prominent position in the landscape with a 180-degree view. And at the foot of the 14th-century Château de la Montagne. It undoubtedly served as the home of one of the peasant families who were subordinate to the lord of the castle.

The land consists of two "enclosed" plots that can only be accessed via a narrow country lane with a perpetual right of way.

The larger building would be the main house. But before we get to that, there's a lot of work to be done. At present, this is a building site where the current owner has carried out preparatory work. The small building comprises two rooms measuring 40 m2 and 8 m2. To gain height, the ceiling has been removed. The roof has been restored.

The other building is the former barn. It has been converted into a 25 m2 living room, a kitchenette, a bathroom and a bedroom. While the other building is being converted, you can stay there.

There is no grid connection; electricity is supplied by two solar panels. Connecting to the electricity grid is very likely to be costly.

Connection to the regular water network is available. The septic tank was installed in 2013 by a French company.

Due to the proximity of the Chateau, there are very strict rules for renovations and installing (additional) solar panels, for example.
